Why Is My Shea Butter Grainy?

Have you ever experienced grainy shea butter after you have melted and solidified the shea butter mixture?
Don't Worry! The grains in the shea butter are part of the shea butter that solidified faster than the rest of the butter.
To fix the grainy texture, smooth the butters out and put it in the freezer until it is completely solid. One way to prevent it is to melt the shea butter completely and pop it in the freezer so the shea butters doesn't form crystalized fatty acids.
