Benefits of Unrefined Yellow Shea Butter

Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nut of the Afircan shea tree. The English word “shea” comes from the tree’s name in Bambara. Shea butter is a complex fat that contains fatty acids such as oleic acid and stearic acid, Vitamins A, D, E, & F that provide nutrients and antioxidants.

Unrefined Yellow Shea Butter has a yellow tint to it because Borututu Roots are added during the production process. Borututu Roots contain rich amounts of nutrients which enriches the shea butter even more. Shea butter without Borututu Roots has a Ivory, off-white color.
