Cupuacu Butter Vs. Shea Butter

You've probably heard of shea butter from cosmetic formulas commonly used for body moisturizers, but cupuacu butter is still uncommon. 

Shea Butter and Cupuacu Butter both have similar properties, but shea butter feels slightly heavier than cupuacu butter. 

Shea butter is naturally softer in texture. Unrefined Shea Butter has a smoky nutty scent, while cupuacu butter has distinct chocolatey aroma with slight sour smell, like rum. 

They are both great base to use for cosmetic use such as soap or body butter base.
